Risk analysis and surveys

Plexus Consultancy offer a risk management package that identifies and resolves immediate and future risks to our clients’ activities. Our offering allows our clients to explore their potential in established and emerging economies, placing emphasis on the clients’ industry sector, their reputation, their investors, the current scope of operations and how they impact on local interests.

Risk anaylsis and surveys

At sea

Prior to crossing a high-risk transit zone, detailed pre-transit surveys are conducted taking into account the type of vessel, its cargo and the risk it faces. Plexus can conduct remote surveys based on a ship’s general arrangement, as well as more detailed on-site surveys. The assessment will break down the vessel’s architecture and provide advice with respect to ship-hardening and fortification against piracy and armed robbery. At port, Plexus are able to oversee cargo disembarkation based on a detailed knowledge of each port and the specific threats present at each site.

On land

All surveys and reports carried out in conflict zones include detailed assessments of the current deployment of armed forces, as well as the status of general resources including equipment, man power and supplies. Furthermore, a Needs Analysis Report is conducted to ascertain the best course of action. Evaluative security surveys enable clients to implement any necessary measures before the commencement of any major work or exploratory project. Through these reports, security risks to the client’s day-to-day business is minimised and the communities in which they work are not put at risk.
